漢語(yǔ)版《大理上下四千年》集歷史性、文學(xué)性與通俗性于一體．出版后受到廣大讀者的好評(píng)。譯者現(xiàn)以統(tǒng)一規(guī)范的語(yǔ)義概念、恰當(dāng)?shù)姆g策喀、正確的文化立場(chǎng)予以全書(shū)英譯．并以此糾正目前有關(guān)大理歷史文化的英譯資料或英語(yǔ)著速中因譯者文化誤讀而產(chǎn)生的（譯語(yǔ)文本中）概念混亂、用詞缺乏統(tǒng)一性、史料失真、政治立場(chǎng)偏向等問(wèn)題，對(duì)提升民族歷史文化的對(duì)外交流與傳播將會(huì)產(chǎn)生極大的推動(dòng)作用。
作者簡(jiǎn)介：
卜紹先，1963年2月出生，籍貫大理鶴慶。1984年7月畢業(yè)于云南大學(xué)外語(yǔ)系英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)專業(yè)，獲英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言文學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。1988年9月赴北京大學(xué)英語(yǔ)系訪學(xué)一年；1996年4月獲國(guó)家公派資助赴澳大利亞維多利亞拉籌伯大學(xué)（LaTrobeUniversity）訪學(xué)一年；2003年3月獲地方公派資助赴
